Inside and Outside Sales Representatives -
Acton Mobile Industries
“Acton” is a provider of modular space rental services to the construction, commercial, education, healthcare and government markets. Acton manages a fleet of over 10,000 units and operates a branch network of 20 locations across 12 states.
The Business
The Sales Representative is to proactively and systematically target and acquire new customers to drive revenue. The Sales Representative is a primary representative for Acton Mobile Industries and must convey expertise of our leasing services and additional capabilities, as a key educator to their pool of prospects. This person must be a dynamic, ambitious and aggressive professional.
Principal duties include but not limited to:
- Secure new business to increase revenue, improve diversity of product lines and industries supported.
- Develop and maintain relationships with business communities to develop, enhance and maintain knowledge base of industry changes, needs and projects and to enhance sales opportunities.
- Systematic contact with pool of non-active prospects and continuous follow-up with active accounts primarily through face to face meetings.
- Plan and prepare Weekly Sales Call Plan, expense and sales reports as required.
- The Sales Representative reports to the Branch Manager and works in concert with the Area Vice President and the Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
Qualifications:
- 5 Years of demonstrated outside sales experience selling services; preferably in the construction/building industry.
- Motivated and self directed sales professional who can operate within guidelines assigned. High energy a must.
- Exceptional communication, presentation and persuasion skills and positive professional attitude.
- Computer and MS Office Skills.
- Experience and skills with a CRM Prospect Database use and maintenance.
- Must demonstrate competence and fearless ability to perform cold calls, and establish B2B face to face appointments. Advanced networking, and relationship development skills. Comfortable with consultative and/or enterprise sales techniques. Must possess advanced selling skills.
- Ability to forecast and manage various opportunities/prospects simultaneously.
- Excellent prospect qualifying and needs assessment skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Possess decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills.
- Valid driver’s license required.
